Michelle Glass, CRPC
Founder & Financial Advisor
I grew up in Lorain, Ohio, an only child in a blue-collar family. My dad worked at the local steel mill, and my mom was a school secretary. They didn’t make a lot of money, but they were very smart with what they had. They saved diligently, building the foundation for a confident retirement.
Then, during my junior year in college, our lives were changed forever. My dad was diagnosed with cancer. He had to stop working and my mom took time away from her job to take care of him.
I had to take out loans to pay for college.
And when my dad passed away at just 63 years old, I remember thinking, everything could be gone overnight.”
After my dad died, my mom met with a financial advisor who helped her get intentional about retirement planning. I tagged along to those meetings, mostly to support her, but looking back, that is where the seed was planted. I saw the power of good planning and how my mom benefitted.
Because of her wise advisor, my mom is financially independent to this day. She is in her late 80’s, living comfortably, and I have never once had to write a check for her care.
And that is a gift I will never take for granted.
I didn’t start my career in financial planning, I spent a decade in pharmaceutical sales, working with physicians and executives who had clarity and confidence about their finances. And I saw how financial security gave people freedom and options.
When I was unexpectedly laid off, my mom’s advisor invited me to lunch, shared how she served her clients, and offered to train me. I passed all my exams, began again, and found work that truly matters to me.
I believe high net worth women and their families deserve a coordinated plan that protects and maintains their lifestyle, prepares for the unexpected, helps reduce the likelihood of common mistakes, and supports the people they love.
So I launched Glass Financial Advisors to offer comprehensive planning the way I believe it should be delivered.
Today, I work with women and their families who have worked hard to build wealth and want to protect themselves and their children.
My passion is helping women grow their nest egg and develop strategies to help mitigate market volatility, unforeseen events, and the kinds of risks that too often go unaddressed.
I have lived through the “what-ifs” and my goal is to provide confidence through planning.
Financial independence isn’t just about having enough money, it is bigger than that. It is about having options and freedom.
If you are wondering whether your money will last, whether your family will be taken care of, and if there is a plan in place for contingencies, I have spent the last 2 decades helping people just like you.
You have worked your entire career to get here.
You deserve a plan that protects what you have built.
That is where I come in.
I would be honored to serve you and your family.
